The Geely Okavango has exclusively front-wheel drive
Geely introduced the new Okavango family crossover in Russia on February 1, prices were announced on February 15, and today sales started: from March 1, Okavango is available for purchase at all official Geely dealerships in Russia.
The crossover is offered in two trim levels: Luxury and Flagship. Prices, respectively, are 3.45 million and 3.6 million rubles. But if you use branded programs (credit, trade-in), the price can be reduced by 450 thousand rubles.
Okavango dimensions are 4860 × 1910 × 1770 mm, wheelbase — 2825 mm. Ground clearance — 184 mm. The crossover is equipped with a 2-liter 200-horsepower engine from Tugella, the engine is combined with a 7-speed «robot», drive— front.
Already in the basic version of Okavango there are 6 airbags, leather interior, light and rain sensors, dual-zone climate control and cruise control, heated first and second row seats, heated windshield and steering wheel, electrically adjustable driver's seat , screens with a diagonal of 10.25 and 12.3 inches, acoustics with 6 speakers.
It is unknown how the appearance of Okavango on the market will affect sales, but in January 2024, Geely sales in Russia soared 2.6 times, and the company’s absolute hit was the Geely Monjaro.
