Mark Dodson, a voice actor known for many games, TV series and films, has died at the age of 64.
On Saturday, while the actor was sleeping in a hotel in Indiana, he suffered a heart attack. The death was confirmed by an agent for Stellar Appearances, who wrote:
“Mark truly loved his fans and enjoyed meeting them at various conventions around the world. He brought a unique tone and flavor to every character and script he took on.”

Dodson has been working as a voice actor for over three decades. He voiced: Adam Hamada in Ghostrunner and Barnabas in Grim Dawn, Nathan Arch in Bendy & the Dark Revival, as well as many characters in the games Nancy Drew and Painkiller.
Paul Crawford, creator of the Bendy games, expressed his condolences.
“Mr. Dodson has had an incredible career and I am honored to have him join our game.”
In addition to gaming, Dodson voiced Mogwai in Gremlins and Salacious B. Crumb in Star Wars. He returned to these roles in the sequels and in the 2022 game Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Dodson leaves behind a daughter and grandchildren.
