Presentation expected in February

Patented images of the production version of the Renault 5 E-Tech have surfaced online ahead of its global debut scheduled for February 26, 2024.

These images were released by the World Intellectual Property Organization and show that the electric hatchback will look very similar to the 2021 concept.

The front of the Renault 5 E-Tech features an updated Renault badge and LED headlights that are identical to the concept. While the car doesn't have a traditional grille, the front fascia features three thin horizontal slats and a large opening at the base of the bumper. The black squares on the bumper house the nice daytime running lights.

The new Renault 5 is a four-door car with rear door handles hidden in the C-pillar. We also see that the charging port is located on the front side panel. The car received a black roof and black pillars with red inserts.

The car is based on the company's new CMF-BEV architecture, which shares 70% of its components with the CMF-B platform used in ICE models such as the Renault Clio, Captur and Dacia range of cars.< /p>
