At CES 2024, Razer showed updated Blade 14, 16 and 18 laptops, new chair, tactile mat, monitor lamp and docking station.
Razer Blade 14, 16 and 18 gaming laptops
The biggest update to the Blade 16 is an OLED screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and a frequency of up to 240 Hz, and an option with a dual-mode mini-LED screen (4K/120 Hz, 1600p/240 Hz) with local dimming is also available . The laptop received an Intel Core i9-14900HX processor and an NVIDIA RTX 4090 graphics card, all at a price of $2999.99.
Not too much is known about the Razer Blade 18 – a 4K 165 Hz display and the presence of Thunderbolt 5 with support for 240 W charging and data transfer up to 120 Gbps.
The Blade 14 has a Ryzen 9 8945HS processor, which is essentially the same 7940HS with an AI chip. It has a 2560 x 1660 240 Hz screen. Video card – up to RTX 4070.
Tactile mat for Project Esther chair
The Project Esther accessory supports haptic feedback and HyperSense and Sensa HD technologies with multi-directional motion. Plug-and-play technology automatically converts audio into a tactile experience. With 16 built-in actuators, the mat offers “high-definition wideband tactile functionality.”

Razer Iskur V2 gaming chair
The main feature of the new Razer chair is the «6D-adjustable adaptive lumbar support system». Docking station for 11 ports with Ethernet and HDMI 2.0
Razer releases an 11-port USB-C docking station with an aluminum body. Connectors include Ethernet, HDMI 2.0, UHS-1 SD and microSD slots, a 3.5mm audio jack with 7.1 surround sound support, four USB-A ports and two USB-C ports. The USB-C ports and two USB-A ports are USB 3.2 standard with a data transfer rate of 10 Gbps, the remaining two USB-A ports — 2.0 (480 Mbit/s). The dock supports up to 85W charging and 4K/60Hz display output via HDMI. The gadget costs $119.99.

The light bar has a color accuracy index of CRI 95 and can illuminate an area of 60 x 30 cm with up to 500 lux. Chroma RGB lamp supports more than 16.8 million colors and many lighting effects. The device has touch controls for brightness, color temperature and effects. There is support for the Matter smart home and settings through the Razer Gamer Room.
