Only in Geekbench for now
More and more tests show that the Snapdragon X Elite SoC in its top configuration will indeed offer very high performance. In the new test, this SoC outperforms even the Apple M3.
More precisely, it outperforms in multi-threaded mode, inferior to single-threaded mode, but for most tasks the second is much more important.
In Geekbench 6, the new Qualcomm platform as part of the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge laptop scores 2785 and 13,925 points against 3133 and 12,005 points for the M3 as part of the 15-inch MacBook Air. That is, the advantage of Snapdragon X Elite in multi-threaded mode is 16%, which is quite noticeable, although not critical.
Of course, Geekbench — This is a purely synthetic benchmark, but we recently saw the capabilities of the Snapdragon X Elite in real tasks, where the platform successfully competed with the Core Ultra 7 155H.
