Prices for used cars in Russia have increased by 300,000 rubles in a year, but sales are still growing

In December 2023, the average price for a used passenger car in Russia reached 1 million 625.2 thousand rubles, according to the review «Monitoring prices on the secondary market», prepared by the agency« ;Autostat».

Experts note that compared to November of this year, used cars in Russia have risen in price by an average of 2.6%. In monetary terms, this amounted to 41.7 thousand rubles.

Compared to December of the previous year, the cost of used cars increased by 22.7%, which is equivalent to the amount of 300.3 thousand rubles.

Sales of used cars in Russia in November decreased by 6.3% compared to October. But over 11 months, sales increased by 20% and amounted to 5.27 million cars.
