The launch of production of the newest Toyota Land Cruiser 250 in China was reported a week ago, then the photo showed the first welded body. Over the past week, the process has progressed noticeably: judging by the photos published by the Chinese resource Autohome, pilot production has been launched.
The photo shows finished cars with certain marks on the body: workers are studying the nuances of assembly, the production process is being debugged. Obviously, serial production will start no earlier than in a couple of weeks, or even months: according to preliminary data, deliveries of the Land Cruiser 250 in China will start only on July 16.
At the moment, you can order an SUV in China, and the Chinese are actively taking advantage of this opportunity. At the pre-order stage, they ask for a car from 65.3 to 80 thousand dollars, retail prices, in accordance with Chinese tradition, should be lower — they are due to be announced at the Beijing Auto Show, which starts on April 25.
