The company «Trucks Vostok Rus», specializing in the production of trucks of the KAMAZ «Compass» family, ended 2023 with a significant event, releasing its 5000th truck – the new KAMAZ «Compass 5». This anniversary light-duty vehicle will soon join the fleet of one of the company's key clients in Russia.
Serial production of new KAMAZ «Compass 5» began at the «Trucks Vostok Rus» plant in Naberezhnye Chelny in the spring of 2023. The model was first presented on the Russian commercial vehicle market. «Compass 5», a light truck with a high safety margin, is intended primarily for commercial transportation. Its operation is available with a category B driver's license, which makes this model popular not only among transport companies, but also among private entrepreneurs.
The manufacturer claims that the quality of Compass cars produced at the Trucks Vostok Rus plant is ensured by innovative technologies, a multi-zone quality control system and a strict audit system. A demanding approach to personnel selection and training also plays an important role. The company operates a plant for the production of cabin frames for trucks in Naberezhnye Chelny. Over the years, more than 15,000 Russian-made cabins have left the assembly line of this modern plant.
