OpenAI has opened free access to customized GPT – chat bots created by third parties developers based on ChatGPT with thematic functions (for example, specializing exclusively in mathematics or cooking borscht).
As The Verge notes, in addition to custom GPTs, free access has also been given to the features added with GPT-4o in early May – web replies, data analytics, charting, file uploading, etc. (previously they were available exclusively to paid users – ChatGPT Plus, Teams and Enterprise).
At the same time, the number of requests is limited, and free ChatGPT users will not be able to create their own custom bots. Although now third-party developers have created a bunch of bots for every taste, so you will definitely find something to your liking – in addition to those that advertise OpenAI on the main page of the GPT Store, you can use native Ukrainian bots (for example, there is a version of “Petrofan” from Ukrainian developers, all of whose answers are related exclusively to Poroshenko).
OpenAI previously announced that it was working on a new version of GPT (but did not specify whether it was GPT-5), and was also creating a “Safety and Security Committee” to investigate the risks , associated with new technology.
