MSI has launched its latest gaming laptop Titan 18 Pro 2024 in the Chinese market, which has already appeared on JD.com.
Titan 18 HX features an 18-inch Mini LED display with 3840 x 2400 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, new 14th Gen Intel Core i9 14900HX processor, RTX 4080 Laptop or 4090 Laptop-enabled GPU DLSS 3.5, three M.2 SSD slots (one of which is PCIe Gen 5), mechanical keyboard made by SteelSeries.
The version with RTX 4080 Laptop in China costs $3,472, and the older version with RTX 4090 Laptop is offered for $4,028. It is worth adding that in the USA the price starts at $5,000.
The robust cooling system includes two fans and six heat pipes, ensuring the laptop stays cool even under heavy loads. It supports PCIe 5.0 for ultra-fast data transfer and comes with a pre-installed 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. There is support for SD cards and four memory slots, which allows you to install up to 192 GB of RAM.
The laptop is equipped with a 6-speaker Dynaudio surround sound system with support for Nahimic and Hi-Res Audio. It also features an HD camera with infrared facial recognition and a Kensington lock slot for anti-theft protection. The laptop is equipped with Wi-Fi 7, which provides peak speeds of up to 5.8 Gbps.
It has two Thunderbolt 4/USB-C ports, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1 and a full-size SD card reader. The laptop weighs 3.6 kg. It's got different AI-powered performance scenarios that promise to optimize settings depending on whether you're gaming or performing other tasks.
In addition to the usual per-key RGB lighting found on most gaming laptops, the Titan's unique feature is an edge-to-edge backlit trackpad.
