Paragon has suffered another setback. An attempt to revive the brand ended in failure

Paragon should have been a big hit. But interest in the game was low and in 2018 Epic Games closed the game servers. They tried to resurrect the brand in 2022, but this attempt also ended in failure.

Paragon: The Overprime will be released on PC in 2022 (on Steam and Epic Games Store). Netmarble wanted to resurrect the brand using mainly graphics models from Epic, which suffered its first failure back in 2018. But the publisher admitted defeat.

It was announced that the Paragon: The Overprime servers will be closed on April 22, 2024. The ability to purchase items through microtransactions was disabled on February 22. The publisher apologizes for the current situation in a post on the official blog:

“After a detailed analysis of the situation, we have come to the conclusion that we will not be able to continue to provide a stable and satisfactory service, which entails the announcement of the shutdown of the game servers. We are very sorry about this.”
