OneDrive crash makes shared folders inaccessible in Windows 11

Microsoft knows about this and is trying to fix it

Users of the Microsoft operating system began to complain about an unpleasant failure of the OneDrive cloud service, depriving them of access to files in shared folders in Windows 11.

The main problem is that the contents of shared folders are synced as links or shortcuts on the Internet, and not as actual files. This denies users access to shared folders and files, as well as the ability to edit them. It is not yet clear whether the problem is related to the recent Windows 11 update.

Microsoft has already acknowledged the existence of the glitch, but there is no official solution for the problem yet and users are asked to remain patient.
