But no iPhone 6 yet

Apple has expanded its list of obsolete and vintage devices.

iPhone 6 Plus is now considered “obsolete” by Apple, meaning its stores and authorized partners will no longer offer repairs or other service for this model. Apple considers a product “obsolete” if seven years have passed since the company last made it available for sale. However, the iPhone 6 has not yet moved into this category, since it was sold for some time after the iPhone 6 Plus was completely removed from sale in September 2016.

K «vintage» Apple now classifies the iPad mini as a fourth generation. This category was created for devices for which five years have passed since the end of sales. But Apple stores and authorized centers will continue to offer repairs for such products for two more years. True, only subject to the availability of spare parts.
