Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is coming to PC on March 21, and Sony has finally published the system requirements.
So, despite the very impressive level of graphics, and the game is often called one of the most beautiful PS5 games, it turned out to be far from the most demanding by modern standards. For 720p/30fps mode, the budget GTX 1650 and Radeon RX 5500 XT are sufficient. For 1080p/60fps you need a popular RTX 3060 or RX 5700.
Adapters of the RTX 3070 and RX 6800 level are enough for 1440p/60fps or even 4K/30fps. But for 4K/60fps, of course, you will need a top-level card: the developers are talking about the RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XT. Moreover, unlike a number of new games, these are all requirements without including upscale.
16 GB of RAM is enough in any mode, and the requirements for the processor are also small: maximum — this is Core i7-11700 or Ryzen 7 5700X.
But on an SSD (and you need an SSD), the game will take 150 GB.
