Now anyone can buy RAM in a completely new form factor LPCAMM2, although there is nowhere to use them yet. Crucial began selling 32 and 64 GB modules

There is only one such laptop on the market so far

Crucial was the first to market RAM modules in the LPCAMM2 form factor. And if the other day we saw one of these in a laptop, now they are available for free sale.

The LPDDR5X-7500 module sells for $180 and $330 for 32 and 64 GB, respectively. It's quite expensive, but CAMM2 just hit the market, so it's to be expected.

Of course, for most users such modules are now useless, since they cannot be used in ordinary PCs: there must be a special contact pad on the motherboard. So, it is likely that even if the market accepts the new format well, it will still be a long time before CAMM2 becomes widespread enough.
