We need to give him time
Apple has updated its website to indicate that if you drop your phone in water or just see a liquid warning on your smartphone screen, you should definitely not blow-dry it or put it in rice.
Highlights:
- Do not use external heat sources (hair dryers, etc.) or compressed air to dry your iPhone.
- Do not insert foreign objects (cotton swabs, paper towels, etc.) into the charging port, which may absorb moisture.
- Don't put your iPhone in a rice bag. Rice grains can damage your iPhone.
Apple explains: when water gets into the iPhone connector, you need to point it with the connector down and gently tap it with your hand to get rid of excess liquid. Then you can put the smartphone in a well-ventilated, dry room and wait until it dries naturally. In this case, you must wait at least 30 minutes before attempting to charge the device or use accessories. If the yellow exclamation mark still appears on the screen, this means that there is liquid remaining in the connector. Therefore, the smartphone should be left in a ventilated place.
If your phone is completely dry and still won't charge, unplug the charger and try again later.
