Nintendo is Japan's richest company

Toyo Keizai has published its annual ranking of Japan's richest companies, with Nintendo ranked first.

Toyo Keizai specializes in analysis of Japanese economic data, business and politics. The site estimates the total value of companies' assets.

According to a new ranking, Nintendo is named the richest company in Japan out of at least 300 contenders.

Top 10 richest companies in Japan:

  1. Nintendo
  2. Shin Etsu Chemical
  3. Keyence
  4. Recruit Holdings
  5. Subaru Corporation
  6. ast Retailing
  7. SMC Corporation
  8. < li>SECOM

  9. NEXON
  10. FANUC

Not counting the general market, the Tokyo Kezai ranking includes nine more companies operating in the video game market:

  • In 25th place – Bandai Namco
  • In 38th place – Square Enix
  • In 50- 1st place – Konami Group
  • In 63rd place – SEGA Sammy
  • In 64th place – GungHo
  • In 81st place – Kadokawa
  • In 88th place – Capcom.
