The VideoCardz website shared a leak of the updated Asus ROG Ally X portable console and claims that these are the official specifications The new console will have the same AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor with 8 Zen4 cores and 12 RDNA3 compute units. The console will retain the same 7″ Full-HD screen with 120 Hz refresh rate and 500 nits brightness.
The internal placement of components has undergone significant changes, including a larger battery. One In the new version, longer battery life will be provided by an 80 Wh battery.
ROG Ally X will also receive 24 GB of LPDDR5X-7500 memory. The 2023 model has 16 GB of LPDDR5-6400 memory, that is, not only the volume has been increased, but also the speed, which will undoubtedly affect games in the best possible way.
ASUS confirms that the console will be 70g heavier (678g) and slightly thicker (36.9mm vs. 32.4mm). The ROG XG mobile port for external graphics card has been replaced by USB4 Type-C, which supports DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery 3.0.
