MediaTek will release an ARM processor for Windows laptops

MediaTek is developing a chip for Microsoft laptops based on ARM technology, as reported by Reuters with reference to three sources at once.

Last month, Microsoft unveiled a new generation of laptops with chips designed using Arm technology that provide enough power to run artificial intelligence applications that executives say are the future of consumer computing. The new MediaTek chip is being created for the same purposes.
