Japan will help NASA in the exploration of the Moon. NASA Administrator Bill Nelson and Japan's Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Masahito Moriyama have signed an agreement to promote sustainable human exploration of the Moon.& nbsp;

As part of this agreement, Japan will develop and design a pressurized rover, including for manned trips on the Moon. Japan will also operate this rover. NASA, in turn, will ensure the delivery of Japanese astronauts and this vehicle to the Moon.

It is known that the lunar rover will be able to accommodate two astronauts and will be able to support their life activities for up to 30 days.

It is worth noting that the launch of such a lunar rover is still very far away. It is currently scheduled to launch on the Artemis VII mission or later in about 10 years.
