Japan expanded sanctions against Russia: motor oils for cars, batteries, photographic equipment were banned

Japan's Ministry of Economy has expanded the list of goods prohibited for export to Russia.

164 new categories have been added to it, including motor oils for cars and hybrids, electrical equipment, lithium-ion and lithium hydride batteries, photo and optical equipment, precision and measurement equipment , as well as floating cranes, yachts, kayaks, canoes, fire boats.

The ban on the supply of all these goods to Russia comes into force on April 17. Editor-in-chief «Behind the wheel» Maxim Kadakov commented on this: «If this is relevant for you, motor oils from Japan will become even more expensive».
