Together with the Galaxy XCover7 smartphone, Samsung today introduced the rugged Galaxy Tab Active 5 tablet. The device is built on a 5-nanometer Exynos 1380 SoC, has 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of flash memory. There is also a slot for microSD memory cards.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 received a removable battery with a capacity of 5050 mAh and, like a smartphone, supports battery-free operation modes — with constant power from the AC adapter.
Galaxy Tab Active 5 is protected from dust and water in accordance with IP68 and meets the requirements of the American military standard MIL-STD-810H (withstands drops from a height of 1.5 meters).
The screen has a diagonal of 8 inches, WUXGA resolution and a frame rate of 120 Hz. Front camera — 5-megapixel, main — with 13 megapixel sensor.
