This is an analogue of the well-known GWM Poer in Russia
In Belarus at the facilities of the «Unison» near Minsk, we set up the assembly of two spacious crossovers VGV U70 Pro and U75 Plus, we have already talked about them in detail. And now there is information that the VGV range (this brand belongs to the famous Chinese manufacturer of trucks Sinotruk) will be expanded with two models – «Chinese cars» carried out an analysis and found out what kind of machines we were talking about.
The Howo/VGV S6 pickup truck will be produced in Belarus, which stands out for its non-trivial design with two-tier optics. Cabin – with two rows of seats: the car is designed for five.
With dimensions of 5400 x 1965 x 1898 mm (wheelbase – 3230 mm), the car is comparable to the GWM Poer pickup truck, popular in Russia. But Howo/VGV S6 also has a «stretched» option: its length is 5645 mm, wheelbase – 3470 mm. This pickup truck is even slightly larger than the GWM King Kong Poer.
Howo/VGV S6 is equipped with a 2.0-liter Weichai turbodiesel that produces 190 hp. and an impressive 420 Nm of torque. The engine is combined with a 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed automatic transmission, drive – back or full.
Also in Belarus they can start producing an electric version of the Howo S6, and such a machine is represented only by a long wheelbase. The Howo/VGV S6 EV has a rear-wheel drive, the power of a single electric motor – 177 hp, power reserve on a full charge of a traction battery with a capacity of 70.2 kW·h – 420 km (according to the CLTC calculation method).
