In its report on the results of work in 2023, the Renault Group officially confirmed the release of a large crossover under the Dacia brand in 2024. This will be the production version of the Bigster concept, and it can also be called a third-generation Dacia Duster stretched to about 4.6 meters.

Externally, the new model will be similar to both the concept and the production Duster. A special feature of the car will be a three-row interior. The engines will be borrowed from Duster, and we are talking about the most powerful power plants: this is a «soft» a hybrid based on a 1.2-liter turbo engine producing 130 hp, and a regular (non-rechargeable) hybrid based on a 1.6-liter engine (in this case power — 140 hp).
