This is the Active Sport version with retuned suspension
The automotive giant Toyota presented a new sports version of the popular Corolla model. The modification, called Active Sport, should become the most dynamic among civilian versions of Corolla thanks to a number of visual and technical improvements.
The Corolla Active Sport's exterior features a more aggressive design with a new front bumper, larger center grille, side skirts and exclusive 17-inch wheels. The color palette of the body is limited to three shades: black, white and gray, which can be combined with a black roof.
The interior of the new product has also undergone changes: sportier front seats with new headrests and eco-leather and fabric trim have been installed. More decorative metal elements have appeared in the interior.
Importantly, the Corolla Active Sport received retuned suspension and steering to improve handling and dynamics. At the same time, the power unit remained unchanged — The standard 1.8-liter engine remains under the hood.
The new Active Sport version is available only for the Corolla sedan and station wagon. It is worth noting that the five-door hatchback already has a GR sports modification with a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine producing over 300 hp, and in Europe the GR Sport version is offered.
