A memorandum of cooperation was signed

Huawei and Changan created a joint venture (JV) and signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The tech giant is looking to expand its reach to include more auto companies, exploring new collaboration models that are open and mutually beneficial. Following in the footsteps of the Avita-Huawei collaboration, the creation of a new company in partnership with Changan will see Changan's sub-brands such as Avatr and Deepal actively collaborating with the new JV.

Huawei's smart car division is set to deepen cooperation with other brands with the launch of the AITO series of models. Joint efforts with companies such as Seres, Chery and others will focus on technological innovation, product definition, quality control, channel sales and brand marketing to accelerate progress in these areas.

On November 25, Changan reaffirmed its commitment to this partnership by signing a “Memorandum of Investment Cooperation” with Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. The memorandum outlines Huawei's plans to create a company engaged in research and development, design, production, sales and service of automotive intelligent systems and component solutions.
