Cars of the revived Volga brand were recently presented in Russia. Initially announced were the Volga C40 D-class sedan, the Volga K30 C-class crossover and the Volga K40 D-class crossover. And now approximate prices for all three models have been announced.
There are no official data, but «Autostat» asked market experts to name benchmark prices.
Head of the press service of the Group of Companies «Expocar» Alexander Kovalev believes that the new products will be positioned in the middle price range. In particular, the Volga C40 can cost in the range of 2.2-2.7 million rubles, the Volga K30 will cost 2.5-3 million rubles, and the Volga K40 will cost from 3 to 3.6 million rubles.
Head of Marketing and PR Department of Group of Companies «BorisHof» Arkady Grigoriev says that pricing will depend, among other things, on how different Volga cars will be from the Changan models on which they are based, in terms of equipment and modifications. Let us remind you that these are Changan Raeton Plus, Oshan X5 Plus and Changan UNI-Z. In general, Grigoriev speaks of a range of 2.5-4 million rubles, which approximately coincides with Kovalev’s opinion.
Editor-in-chief of Radio «Avtodor» Igor Morzharetto spoke in approximately the same vein:
