Hogwarts Legacy activists were not enthusiastic about Hogwarts Legacy even before release. The reason was various statements by JK Rowling, after which they began to attack the project in every possible way (the lack of connection between the game and the writer bothered few people).

It turned out that sales of Hogwarts Legacy have already reached 24 million copies (released in February 2023). Sales of 12 million were talked about in February 2023, i.e. sold another 12 million in less than 1 year.
Mortal Kombat 1, released in September 2023, has so far only sold 3 million copies (while in November 2023 it was reported that sales had “almost reached” 3 million).
Hogwarts Legacy will continue to receive updates in 2024; New content is also expected, which is a PlayStation exclusive for now.
