The generative AI functions implemented in the latest flagships Samsung Galaxy S24 under the general name Galaxy AI also work in China, but there is a nuance: if in global models AI capabilities are implemented through Google Gemini, then in Chinese Galaxy S24 local development is responsible for their implementation – Baidu Ernie. At the same time, on the Chinese pages of the official Samsung website dedicated to the Galaxy S24, there is no mention of Google, whose activities in the country are limited.
