Basic version costs $41,500
The Nvidia Grace Hopper Superchip server accelerator can now be purchased as a regular PC. Anyone can buy such a workstation. Of course, if he has $41,500.
The specified amount — this is the starting price for such a PC. For this money, the buyer will receive half of the Grace Hopper Superchip in the form of the Grace Hopper GH200, that is, 72 processor cores and 480 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Of course, the configuration also includes the H200 GPU with 16,896 CUDA cores. There are also Nvidia Bluefield-3 and ConnectX-7 network adapters, solid-state drives with a total capacity of 8 TB, a HDD with a capacity of 30 TB, and even a GeForce RTX 4060 video card, which, of course, is several times inferior to the GPU H200, but the latter is needed for computing, and the RTX 4060 will deal with image output and graphics processing in the system, if any. And it seems that it is quite possible to run games on such a PC. It is worth saying that the company GPTshop.ai — is producing such a product. Nvidia itself is not involved here.
Recall that the other day we saw a review where the basic version of the Grace Hopper GH200 more than successfully competed with server processors from AMD and Intel, sometimes significantly surpassing them.
You can also recall a similar workstation Prodigy ATX Platform from the company Tachyum, which supposedly should be tens of times more powerful at a price almost an order of magnitude lower. But for now there are doubts that such a product will come out at all.
