The sales plan for the current year is almost 10 times the number of cars sold in 2023
GAC has announced a plan to conquer the domestic market. This year the company plans to sell 30 thousand cars in Russia — despite the fact that last year about 4 thousand cars were sold. However, positive dynamics are already being recorded: since the beginning of the year, GAC has sold 3.4 thousand cars in Russia, most of them — flagship crossover GAC GS8.
Surely the GS8 will lead in the sales structure in the next months, but there will also be reinforcements: the company announced a plan to bring the GAC GS4 Max crossover to the domestic market. This is a mid-size model, comparable in size to the Nissan X-Trail. Dimensions GAC GS4 Max — 4685 x 1901 x 1690 mm, wheelbase — 2750 mm. The car is equipped with a 177-horsepower 1.5-liter turbo engine and a 7-speed robot. Externally (its front part) GAC GS4 Max is very reminiscent of the Infinity QX50.
GAC GS4 Max will act as a temporary replacement for the GAC Emkoo crossover: especially for Russia, it was supposed to be equipped with all-wheel drive and in this version introduced to the Russian market this year, but the company has not yet managed to modify the car.
