Turn 10 has revealed some of the features and changes coming to Forza Motorsport in the coming months.
These include spectator mode, endurance racing, vehicle proximity radar, as well as big changes to multiplayer and matchmaking.
Changes to matchmaking Players will allow players with a high safety rating to race alongside those who also adhere to racing etiquette.
In addition, the way players receive a safety rating will change. The game will calculate a player's safety rating over 20 races, rather than 10, to highlight long-term racing trends. This is to ensure that one bad race does not affect 19 other clean races and vice versa.
Improvement in the fine system is also promised. Turn 10 said low-speed collisions and small corner cuts will no longer result in hefty fines. In the next update, the AI of the racers will be adjusted. After improving the behavior of the AI in the first turn at the start of the race, the developers were able to fix unnecessary AI violations on the straights and when the AI tries to pass the player.
The developer blog at this link contains more detailed information about the changes.
