Euro Truck Simulator 2 continues to improve not only in appearance, the developers have revised the damage system
Update 1.49 has been released for Euro Truck Simulator 2. The improvements are not only visual, the game mechanics are also expanded.
Some changes in patch 1.49 for Euro Truck Simulator 2:
- The sky now features dynamic stars, and you can see the Moon and lightning during a thunderstorm. Also, skyboxes (sky) have HDR support.
- Used trucks have been introduced into the game, as well as a new repair and damage system: now there are three types of damage; due to wear and tear of parts, they will have to be replaced at a certain point.
- You can use a keyboard shortcut for control, for example assigning the headlights to Shift + L.
- The game can distinguish between short and long key presses, this can also be used to customize controls.
- Added automatic switching on/off of headlights at a certain lighting level.
- There was an automatic switching on/off of high beams when a car appeared in front.
