The project, which launched with more than 228,000 active players, has seen a significant drop in its audience, according to SteamDB data.
The waning interest in single-player games is nothing unusual. Capcom's product experienced a rocky start, largely due to the introduction of microtransactions, numerous bugs and poor performance on PC and consoles, which did not escape the attention of gamers.

Other games like Baldur's Gate 3 and Elden Ring still attract over 50,000 players a day on Steam, which is what Dragon's is about Dogma 2 can only be a dream. And every day the situation is getting worse, not better.
Capcom, having listened to comments from the community (sorry it’s late), announced an update that corrects a number of annoying bugs. Will Dragon's Dogma 2 regain its position in the market or act as a warning to other game developers? Only time will tell how Capcom will handle this new challenge.
