Huawei announced the latest pre-order results for its flagship SUV Aito M9. In 86 days, 60 thousand applications were collected for the purchase of a car.
This is a great success considering that the price of the car is a considerable 65 thousand dollars. However, if you compare it with competitors — BMW X7 and Mercedes-Maybach GLS — then the Aito M9 is about half the price (here we are talking about the cost of the basic versions).
The Huawei Aito M9 is offered in China as both a plug-in hybrid and a pure electric vehicle. In the first case, a 1.5-liter engine and two electric motors (total system power — 496 hp, traction battery capacity — 52 or 42 kW· h, in the second case the power is 530 hp. s., and the capacity of the traction battery is 97 kW/h. The range of the electric vehicle is 630 km, the hybrid is 1362 or 1402 km.
