The developers of Massive Monster have announced that one of the most popular indie games of recent years, Cult of the Lamb, will soon receive an addition with the alarming name Sins of the Flesh.
As reported in the official announcement, a huge number of new features are planned that will appear in the game on all platforms as a free update. The developers have not yet disclosed the details, but we are clearly talking about new gameplay elements and expanding the plot layer. The release is scheduled for “very early next year.”
The developers added that a lot of effort has been put into creating the add-on, and more detailed information will be announced soon.
It is worth noting that the game will not disappear from sale at the beginning of 2024, as one might assume from the developers' statement. Let's remember that in September the studio announced that it was considering the possibility of withdrawing the game from distribution if Unity, the developers of the engine on which the game is built, introduced a new price list. Later they clarified that this was done in order to express disagreement with the actions of the company.
