Interestingly, both models cost exactly the same: from 13,800 to 19,300 dollars, in addition, BYD Seal 06 DM-i also offers versions with a range of 80 to 120 km on pure electricity. Let's take a look at the differences: BYD Seal 06 DM-i is built in a fastback body with dimensions of 4830 x 1875 x 1495 mm, and the wheelbase is 2790 mm. The manufacturer claims that the trunk can accommodate 5 suitcases.
The car is equipped with an 8.8-inch LCD panel instrument. The central control screen is available in 12.8 or 15.6 inches depending on configuration. The car supports NFC digital keys and is equipped with DiLink intelligent network connection system.
The equipment of the basic version includes a front four-link MacPherson suspension and a rear four-link E-type suspension, 17-inch wheels, a panoramic image system, 6 airbags, cruise control, air conditioning, tire pressure sensors, 6 speakers , 6-position electric driver's seat adjustment.
The higher version features a panoramic sunroof, Intelligent Driving Assist, 8-way power driver's seat with memory and 4-way power front passenger seat, 7kW charger with free home installation, power folding exterior mirrors , rear center armrest with cup holders, 18-inch wheels, ventilated and heated front seats, multi-color ambient lighting, 15W wireless smartphone charging, air purifier, rain sensor and auto-dimming inside rearview mirror.
The hybrid system consists of a 1.5-liter combustion engine with a power of kW, and the electric motor can have a power of 120 or 160 kW. The maximum speed is 180 km/h. The declared fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is about 3 liters. Interestingly, the average fuel consumption measured during the first reviews was even less: only 2.11 liters, and the lowest — 1.79 l. Moreover, the range measured by the Chinese media exceeded 2300 km with the declared 2100 km.
Previously, the manufacturer stated that the fifth generation DM hybrid technology will open a “new era” in fuel consumption.
