FAW today announced several new products for the Russian market. The first and key was the new generation Bestune B70 liftback (Chinese Superb): according to Auto.ru, sales of this car in Russia will start in the fourth quarter.
The new Bestune B70 is very different from the previous generation model: the exterior has changed radically (with narrow head optics it has become more modern), the interior has also been updated (a new 7-inch digital instrument panel and a media system with a 12.3-inch diagonal screen have appeared).< /p>
The engine range of the Russian Bestune B70 will not differ from the “Chinese”: there will be engines with a volume of 1.5 and 2 liters, a 7-speed «robot» (with a junior internal combustion engine) and a conventional hydromechanical «automatic» (with older motor). In China, engines develop 160 and 217 hp, but in Russia they can be derated.
FAW Bestune T90 will become a completely new model of the brand in Russia; in the range it will occupy a position one step below the top model Bestune T99. For Bestune T99 they are now asking from 2.95 million rubles — Bestune T90 should be cheaper.
Length FAW Bestune T90 — 4.7 m, wheelbase — 2.7 m. That is, this is a typical mid-size crossover of the Nissan X-Trail format. The engines and gearboxes are the same as the liftback, but there is no all-wheel drive.
In 2025, the updated Bestune T77 (last year 170 of these cars under the Lada X-Cross 5 brand) and Bestune T99 were released in Russia. An electric car is also promised.
