Sales soared 55.7% year-on-year
Chery cars are selling like hot cakes: according to the company itself, 182 049 cars were sold in April — 43.7% more than in April 2023. Of this number, 89 377 cars were sold outside China — growth in annual terms by 18.3%.
From January to April the company sold 711 653 cars — 55.7% more than in the same period last year. Of this amount, 342 795 cars were exported.
The parent brand is in the lead in the sales structure of the company's brands: 117 726 cars sold in April were with the Chery nameplate. Exeed accounted for 8,235 cars, the Jetour brand accounted for 37&248 cars, and another 7,524 cars were accounted for by the new iCAR brand (it is currently represented by only one crossover, the iCAR 03, but more interesting cars are on the way).
