Update available for premium users
OpenAI officially introduced the GPT-4 Turbo update for paid users of ChatGPT, which improves the chatbot's writing, coding and communication abilities.
Update promises more direct and concise answers when using ChatGPT. OpenAI has previously promised to phase out ChatGPT's verbose and potentially repetitive output over time.
GPT-4 Turbo can now process six times more text data — 300 pages, up from the previous limit of 50. The user can ask more detailed queries to the user and potentially receive better answers. Additionally, GPT-4 Turbo can now generate captions and descriptions for images and handle text-to-speech requests.
But the learning doesn't end there. Since its first announcement, GPT-4 Turbo has further expanded its knowledge base. If GPT-4 had information until September 2021, and GPT-4 Turbo was initially limited to April 2023, now the database stores Network data until December 2023.
