Budget smartphone Honor X6b “silently” launches in Europe

With MediaTek Helio G85 and without 5G support, it costs less than $200

Honor has quietly introduced a new budget smartphone, the X6b. The model appeared on the company’s website; it will be sold in European markets — perhaps in Russia too. Honor X6b is equipped with a 6.56-inch TFT display with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The device is based on the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and runs Android 14 OS with an additional MagicOS 8.0 interface; it does not support 5G networks.

The amount of RAM is 4 or 6 GB, and the built-in — 128 or 256 GB. On the rear panel there is a 50-megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Battery capacity — 5200 mAh, it supports 35W fast charging. The smartphone is available in green, purple, blue and black colors. In the UK, the minimum price for the model is £129.99 (about $165).
