Next year the ratio will be 50/50
AvtoVAZ decided to halve the production of versions with Lada Vesta «mechanics», significantly increasing the production of models with an automatic transmission (variator), as reported by the Telegram channel No Limits with reference to its own source at the factory.
Already this year the plant is going to bring the balance of sales of Lada Vesta with «mechanics» and a variator up to a ratio of 80% to 20%, respectively, and we are talking about all modifications. In 2025, this figure should be half of all Lada Vestas in any modifications.
«Initially, it is planned to produce about 20% of the Lada Vesta with a CVT, and after that the ratio will be increased to 50%», — the interlocutor at the factory told No Limits.
This percentage was obtained based on the results of a focus group survey, which showed that this is exactly how many customers would like to purchase a two-pedal version of the Lada Vesta.
Remember, Lada Vesta with a 1.8EVO engine with a power of 122 hp. and a CVT costs from 1.6 million rubles.
