AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov said that serial production of the e-Largus electric car at the Izhevsk plant will start this summer.

So far, 13 body panels have been localized at the press production; the rest of the stamping is being transported from Tolyatti. By the end of the year, about 50 more body parts should be mastered.

Earlier, AvtoVAZ announced that initially the cars would be produced in two colors — «glacial» and «platinum». Next, «panther» will be added to the color scheme. and «borneo».
The first commercial Izhevsk Lada Largus will be produced in the Classic configuration — These will be both passenger versions and vans, which will be equipped with both 8-valve and 16-valve engines. Next, the production of cars in the Comfort configuration will begin.
