Tank retained its recognizable appearance, but some changes were made to the design: the SUV became more streamlined, the glass area increased, and the expeditionary trunk turned from hinged to integrated. Along the way, the shape of the lanterns changed, they became vertical.
If it was previously reported about the use of a Toyota 3UZ-FE gasoline engine (V-shaped, eight-cylinder, 4.3-liter, 276 hp from the Toyota Celsior and Toyota Crown Majesta models) in the Visuva Tank, then Now we are talking about a 4.2-liter 1HD-FTE diesel engine with a power of up to 205 hp, which was installed on the Toyota Land Cruiser 100. In conjunction with it, it is supposed to use a four- or six-speed automatic transmission ZF.
