And the new iPad Pro will get OLED panels

Apple is going to switch its iPad Pro tablets to OLED screens, and now it turns out that the older Air will also change the type of screen.

Industry analyst and founder of research companies Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch Ross Young claims that the new iPad Air 12.9 model will have a Mini-LED display, like the current iPad Pro. That is, it will be something between Air and Pro.

At the same time, it is not a fact that the new product will receive support for an increased frame rate — this may remain a benefit of the Pro models. The larger iPad Air will already be more expensive than the regular 11-inch version, and with a Mini-LED screen, the price difference may be even more noticeable.
