Apple is ramping up work on foldable devices, as stated by  Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu. His report states that Apple will begin mass production of a 20.3-inch foldable device in late 2025, and the company will release a foldable iPhone in late 2026.

Ming-Chi Kuo previously reported that Apple is working on a 20.3-inch foldable MacBook, slated for release in 2027. Ross Young also talked about Apple's development of a 20-inch foldable hybrid device, slated for release in 2026 or 2027. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has confirmed that Apple is «exploring a foldable dual-screen MacBook/iPad hybrid».

According to the latest information from Jeff Pu, Apple has «accelerated» work on folding devices. His article suggests that thanks to supply chain checks, Apple's foldable devices could become a reality sooner than expected.

Pu says Apple's foldable gadgets will be a “new Apple lineup” aimed at the “ultra-high-end market.” Apple is reportedly exploring two screen sizes for the foldable iPhone: 7.9 inches and 8.3 inches.

The same source said that Apple will release the first iPhone Slim, all iPhone 17 models will get a new camera, and the Pro version will have 12 GB of RAM.
