Anti-spam service “Label” will be launched for all Beeline subscribers in February

It does not need mobile Internet and a special application, the service works even on push-button dialers

Operator «Beeline» said its new call identification service «Label» allowed to reduce the number of complaints about telephone fraud by six times, almost to zero. Such data was collected during pilot testing of the product, which took place in December 2023. And during February the «Label» service will work for all Beeline clients, as the company promises. The service is free, you do not need to specifically connect or activate it.

«Label» allows you to display on the phone screen the name of the company or brand from which the call came, as well as additional information, such as the purpose of the call or a warning about spam and scammers. In this case, the subscriber does not need to install additional applications, since the service operates on the basis of the operator’s own technology, which transmits text simultaneously with the incoming call. Mobile Internet is also not required; the service works on both smartphones and feature phones. Experts note that such a development — the first on the Russian market.

In addition to fighting spam, «Label» can also be useful in running a business. Companies can «brand» your outgoing calls from one or more numbers, and when such a call arrives, the subscriber will be able to immediately identify it as a call from a courier or a car dealership.
