JAC released its 300,000th pickup truck. It took the company 13 years to produce 200,000 pickup trucks, and another 100,000 rolled off the assembly line in less than two years. One of the reasons for the rapid growth in sales is that JAC now exports pickup trucks to 132 countries.

Feng Liangsen, Secretary of the Board of Directors of JAC and General Manager of the company, said at the ceremony: «These 300,000 units are not only the result of JAC's independent work, transformation and upgrading, and global development, but also the fruits of JAC's hard work and collaborative efforts. This is another important achievement in the globalization of Chinese pickup trucks».

JAC sells three pickup truck models: T6, T8 Pro and T9. The 300,000th was the T9, known in China as Hunter (Hantu). It rolled off the assembly line in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, on May 21. JAC sold 55,000 pickups last year, of which about 42,000 were exported. Markets include Latin America, GCC, Central Asia, Europe and Australia. JAC ranked first among Chinese pickup truck brands in Mexico, Peru and Kazakhstan.
