AGI introduced new SSDs at Computex 2024: 16 TB for PCIe Gen 4 and 8 TB for SATA

AGI brought new solid-state drives to Computex 2024: models A1238 and A1838. The first is an SSD for the SATA interface. She will have only one volume option — 8 TB. The manufacturer promises read and write speeds of up to 550 and 450 MB/s, respectively. The Realtek RM1136 controller is used. The TWB (total bytes written, total recording volume for the entire time) is 4000 TB.

The A1838 drive is designed for the M.2 connector (2280 form factor) and uses the PCIe Gen 4 interface. There will be two versions: 8 or 16 TB (TWB 4000 and 8000 TB, respectively). Claimed read and write speed — 7000 and 6000 MB/s. Both models will hit the market by September 2024. Prices have not yet been announced.
