Sales will begin in the summer
Chinese crossovers of the VGV brand began to be assembled at the Belarusian plant «Unison», which agreed with VGV to produce two models: U70 Pro and U75 Plus. They will be delivered to Russia. The start of sales is expected in early summer of this year.
A competitive feature of Belarusian-assembled cars is their cost. «We will be able to offer mid-size crossovers at the price of small-class crossovers», — said Mikhail Plotnikov, General Director of the company «Motor Place», acting as the official distributor of VGV.
The machines were modified specifically for Russia: in the U70 Pro and U75 Plus, 141 and 169 components were changed, respectively. We replaced the suspension, optimized the operation algorithms of engines and gearboxes, and also Russified the on-board computer.
We added warm options, improved sound insulation, ground clearance increased to 200 mm (+10 mm). The engines operate with AI-92 gasoline, fuel consumption of the U70 Pro is 7.8 liters per 100 km, and the U75 Plus— 8.9 l.
